Beach House Brewing

Started in an apartment on the decidedly not-beachy Beach Avenue in Chicago, Beach House Brewing is the ongoing homebrew efforts of Xander Wikstrom, Hannah Flynn, and other rotating guests. The first time we brewed, there were five of us. I wanted everyone to have a hand in making the labels, even though the participants weren't particularly oriented towards crafts. So, I carved up some linoleum stamps, and started the tradition of BHB hand-printed labels.

Good Otters Ale

Full name: "A Toast to the Lives of Good Otters Ale", made with Maris Otter malt and Fuggles hops. Named after a 1950s article in National Geographic called The Lives of Good Otters. 

Florida Room Pale Ale

A Florida Room is another term for a sunroom. Our Florida Room has lattice walls, which allows the breeze to come through on a hot day. The Florida Room Ale is perfectly crisp and lightly citrusy, great for sipping in your sunroom.
